What Types of Cases can a Legal Nurse Consultant work on?

SOME NOT SO OBVIOUS CASES THAT INTEGRITY CONSULTING CAN ASSIST YOU WITH INCLUDE:

1) DOMESTIC CASES.

Many times there is a parent with a mental health issue involving psychiatric records, or a child with mental health/ developmental delay issues that requires special care. Integrity Consulting can explain some of the complex testing, interpret the questions and implications, and clarify how these issues affect your position.

2) CRIMINAL CASES.

Any Injurious act to society can create medical records, such as:

•  ABUSE OR ASSAULT CASES

• MEDICARE AND MEDICAID FRAUD

• ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES: USE AND POSSESSION

ANY CASE THAT INVOLVES MEDICAL OR

PSYCHIATRIC RECORDS OR ISSUES.

This can involve the obvious, such as medical malpractice cases involving negligence of nursing or medical care, whether it involves the actions of an individual or a healthcare facility.

These do not need to be medical devices or medications. They can involve any devices whose use results in alleged damages or injuries, and so indicates a liability of the seller or manufacturer. Also involves duty to warn issues. Items such as:

• PESTICIDES
• ANY TYPE OF PRODUCT FROM PERSONAL CARE TO APPLIANCES
• CLEANING SOLUTIONS

• THREE OR FOUR WHEELERS
• ANY TYPE OF MACHINERY
